There are
2 options to get to Kowhai from Christchurch,
both are the same distance from the city center.
Option
1
Head West on Yaldhurst Rd.
Turn right onto Old West Coast Rd.
Follow signs to Waimak Bridge.( approx 35km )
Cross bridge, then take first left.
Follow this road to Give Way sign.
Go straight ahead & take first left.
Option
2
Head North on the North Motorway.
Follow signs to Oxford (approx 40
minutes drive)
Go straight through Oxford
After Oxford go over the Eyre River bridge, then take
the first road right. (Woodstock Rd)
Go around 8km, turn right at 'Kowhai' sign.
Take the first road left Island Rd Kowhai is at the
end of this road.
