For tour groups we offer half day, full day and overnight introductory horse riding courses.

Enjoy riding top quality eventing horses with professional instructors in a safe country environment.

Riders are fully supervised at all times and safety helmets are provided.

Each rider will learn: some grooming, correct mounting, and take part in a riding lesson on basic control of the horse, then go for a guided farm trek up our hill. (in good weather you can see across the Canterbury Plains all the way to Christchurch
Groups need a minimum of 2 ½ hours on the farm to enjoy this without rushing.
(for tour groups all horses will be saddled and waiting in the yard area)
We have 4 private rooms and 4 dorm rooms available to take a maximum of 30 people overnight.
All meals are provided for overnight guests.
